This is Anik Das and I’m an undergrad mechanical engineering student. This is my second year at CCNY. I’m from Bangladesh. After coming from Bangladesh, I continued my educational journey at John Adams High School. I graduated from high school and came to CCNY. I work as a part-timer besides studying. I’m a hardcore coffee drinker. But I’m trying to reduce drinking coffee a lot. My favorite sport is Cricket. Whenever I have some spare time I try to play with my high school friends. In my life I’ve spent a decent amount of time in Bangladesh and based on that experience I would say that leading life here in the USA is pretty tough. Considering all the immigrant students I think I’m not the only person that has faced many ups and downs. As an immigrant student, the slogan of my life is “work hard, lead a good life and conquer dreams”. Studying mechanical engineering is one of my dreams. Therefore, to fulfill this dream I’m here today at CCNY.
