Mechanical Engineering Internship
To whom it may concern,
I am Anik Das, a second-year undergrad mechanical engineering student at the City College of New York. I’ve heard about this job position from an online website called “Indeed”. Having done with two semesters at CCNY, I got the opportunity to learn many things regarding the field of mechanical engineering including solid works and engineering 101. Based on my personal experience, I believe I’m the most competent candidate for this position.
Beginning in my college year, I took the bridge designing class where I’ve learned the concept of designing a tension bridge. Besides, I’ve gained the knowledge of coding from the python class, which is quite handy in the field of mechanical engineering. One of the most important things I’ve learned in my educational journey at CCNY is how to draw mechanical tools using solid work. Also, I’ve learned how to give a presentation on a mechanical engineering-based project.
I am very eager to sit for an interview to prove my interest for this position and I’m very interested to work with you and your company. For further information, please check my resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Anik Das
